Willow is a sophomore at American University in Washington, DC, and intends to declare majors in sociology and history with a minor in communications. Due to a disability, she is taking some time off from school, which leaves her with a lot of free time–perfect for a bookworm. Willow loves discovering new critical voices, from social media writers to social theorists, professors to poets. She is also an avid writer–one of her essays appears in the second volume of the intersectional feminist anthology series “Mosaics: A Collection of Independent Women”–and a community activist. When her body is being kind, she enjoys hanging out at her favorite parks, scouring thrift stores, cooking, and finding cool new things to do in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
